David R Teppola
(1942-2006)
Laurel Ridge Winery
David and Susan Teppola founded Laurel Ridge Winery in 1986. David graduated from Wilson High and Lewis and Clark.
In 1977 Teppola was asked by the receivers of the bankrupt Charles Coury Winery near Forest Grove to run it. He worked there for 9 years and in 1986 purchased the property and established Laurel Ridge Winery.
In 2001 the Teppola’s moved the winery to a new state-of-the art facility on Kuehne Road near Carlton where they had purchased 240 acres in 1974. David Teppola passed away in January 2006.
